Homies by David Gonzales

David Gonzales, after a decade spent designing toys, returns to his roots in airbrushing, illustrating, and T-shirt design. He initially made his mark in the T-shirt industry in 1991 as Gonzales Graphics, starting in swap meets and mercados before breaking into major retailers like Hot Topic and Urban Outfitters. As a pioneer of Chicano style urban and lowrider tees, David left the industry in 1998 to focus on his successful Homies Empire. Now, he's back with a new brand, DavidGonzalesArt (DGA), making it his primary focus while his Hollywood representatives pursue an animated Homies TV show. Inspired by artists like Teen Angel, Mike Pickel, and David Mann, David aims to reclaim his throne in the industry, bringing new designs and visions to his loyal fans. With distribution and marketing from SoCal and creative design from NorCal, DGA truly represents Cali. David is determined to reconnect with his core fans and introduce new fans to his unique artistic legacy.
